Snapscreen is a revolutionary Image Recognition solution

Our technology recognizes TV in an instant. Snapscreen works with live TV, recorded TV and provides solutions for Broadcasters, Sports and Advertisers.

Snapscreen turns the camera on a mobile device into a versatile tool to entertain, retain and engage viewers in a modern and intuitive way

 

The idea of Snapscreen was born in 2013, when Founder and CEO Thomas Willomitzer watched the Super Bowl live on TV. At this time he was CTO of Jumio Inc. a company that focused on image recognition. During the breaks he saw a commercial that displayed a logo from a well-known audio recognition service. People had to turn on the app on their mobile and had to make it listen to the spot. Thomas liked the idea to connect TV and Internet, though he thought that there must be a better way.

Today Snapscreen is the most flexible and intuitive way to connect TV and mobile - every image on TV is turned into a QR code.
